Project Purchasing Manager (engineering Service Provider)

Job Description
This role is responsible for overseeing the overall procurement activities for project basis, vendor selection & evaluation, contract negotiation, continuous process improvement and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.
- Procure materials & equipment according to the projects given by clients.
- Identify cost saving opportunity and develop the cost saving initiatives
- Perform cost evaluation and market benchmarking
- Create data base for common material usage and provide suggestion for alternative resources.
- Ensure the delivery on time
- Vendor management
- Build good network and relationship with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Perform vendor selection & evaluation
- Compliance to company procurement policies & procedures
- Continuous process improvement
- Conduct contract negotiation
- Be a leader in the team
- Assisting in invoice matching process to facilitate payment to vendor.
- Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain, Procurement, Business Admin, Engineering or any related studies.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience
- Proficient in MS Office and computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skill as well as strong negotiation
- Able to handle stress and sense of urgency.
- Preferably someone with similar industry.
