Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Project Scheduler with experience in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects, including substations, overhead lines (OHL), and underground cable (UGC) installations. The role involves developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely execution of power infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in project planning with a strong understanding of construction sequence and resource management.

ROLE & RESPONSIBLE:

Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules for T&D projects (substations, transmission lines, and cable networks).

Establish Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define project milestones.

Integrate schedules from engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Identify critical path activities and ensure project deadlines are met.

Track project progress, variances, and delays, ensuring corrective actions are taken.

Prepare and submit weekly/monthly progress reports to project stakeholders.

Conduct earned value analysis (EVA) to assess project performance.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure schedule alignment.

Identify potential risks and bottlenecks, proposing mitigation strategies.

Facilitate project meetings and schedule reviews with internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with contractual scheduling requirements and project timelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in T&D (Transmission & Distribution) projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
