Job Description

1. Site Safety Monitoring

Assist the Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) or HSE Officer in monitoring daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations. Conduct routine inspections around the worksite to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards. Promote safe work practices and ensure workers use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

2. Safety Communication & Awareness

Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings to promote awareness of site safety rules and procedures. Display and maintain safety signages, posters, and banners at designated locations on-site. Encourage workers to report hazards, unsafe conditions, and near-miss incidents.

3. Incident & Non-Compliance Reporting

Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, or near-miss incidents immediately to the Site Safety Supervisor or HSE Officer. Assist in incident or accident investigations and help prepare related reports and documentation. Support in implementing corrective and preventive actions as instructed.

4. Site Housekeeping & Environmental Practices

Promote and monitor good housekeeping at the worksite to maintain a clean and safe environment. Ensure proper waste disposal and compliance with environmental requirements at the site.

5. Safety Documentation & Record-Keeping

Assist in maintaining safety checklists, inspection forms, and records of toolbox meetings. Support the HSE department in documentation for audits, inspections, or reporting purposes.

6. Collaboration & Support

Coordinate closely with site supervisors, foremen, and workers to ensure safety standards are upheld. Provide support during visits by clients, consultants, or DOSH representatives.

7. Ad-Hoc Duties

Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Site Safety Supervisor, HSE Officer, or Project Manager.

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
