Sports Direct Malaysia is currently looking for a Property Manager/ Assistant Manager to join the FEARLESS team.

Malaysia marks the first direct retail investment in Asia through a joint venture partnership with Malaysian owned MST Golf Group of companies, a well-established golf retailer and service provider in the region. Sports Direct Malaysia currently operates a total of 34 retail stores domestically and manages a proprietary SportsDirect.com e-commerce site for domestic and regional fulfillment. Job Summary:

As Property Manager, you will be responsible towards Company\xe2\x80\x99s business development plan particularly on new stores locations, tenancies negotiation, follow up and follow through of renewals, management of related legal documentations, data analysis and reports as well as working closely with related departments on tenancies / leasing matters. Being a manager, you will also be expected to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations related to property tenancies.

Responsibilities :

Your responsibilities as the Manager, Property will include but not limited to:

• Responsible for overall general sourcing and identifying feasible locations for new outlets
• Negotiating for the best rate with overall package inclusive marketing initiatives.
• Responsible for data analysis and reports including liaising with UK on reporting and updating appraisal deck.
• Responsible for data entry, analysis, and reporting on all outlets.
• Monitoring, managing, and reviewing of existing tenancies including renewal and closure processes.
• Liaising and keeping good working relationship with landlords to optimize benefits on Company\xe2\x80\x99s tenancies.
• Liaising with legal firm on legal documentations pertaining to tenancies and all other related matters including handling of resolutions.
• Liaise and follow up with related stakeholders to ensure smooth completion of tenancies matters.
• Any other lawful assignments as instructed by superior as and when required.

Qualifications

Candidate must have the following requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in retail property and leasing management, preferably with a retail chain or with a leading retail developer in leasing. With at least 2 years at managerial level.
• Proven strong negotiation skills
• Organized, resourceful, hands-on, result-oriented, and good inter-personal skills and good time management.
• Good critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy
