Borneo and Beyond is seeking an experienced
Proposal Engineer
to collaborate on preparingtechnical and commercial submissions
forFire Protection and ACMV (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation)
projects.This is a
flexible, project-based engagement
ideal for professionals who enjoy technical work, tender preparation, and precise documentation -- without the full-time commitment. You will collaborate directly with the General Manager on live tenders and inspection-related projects.Key Responsibilities
Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings (NFPA, BOMBA, UBBL, MS). Prepare technical proposals, compliance checklists, BOQs, and pricing summaries. Coordinate supplier quotations and technical data sheets. Format and compile submission documents for management review. Maintain organized records for each proposal cycle. Support clarifications or addenda post-submission when required.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Technology, or related field. Minimum
3 years
experience in fire protection, ACMV, or M&E proposal preparation. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF tools. Familiarity with BOMBA submission or tender procedures is an advantage. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with clear instructions.Job Types: Contract, Freelance
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: RM500.00 - RM1,000.00 per week
