Work closely with the Outsourced Enforcement Officers on duty and accountable for ensuring the highest standard of discipline of security personnel in his/her shift.
Coordinate with all Protection Officer & Outsourced Enforcement Officers in the daily deployment for his/her shift by taking instruction from the Protection Officer Lead & Security Supervisor for each shift.
Ensure all security equipment, CCTV system, Food Defense Cameras, Access Control Systems, Key Control and Fire Systems are maintained, tested, and serviced as required.
Ensure the proper administration of the Security Control Room and all reported incidents are duly recorded and immediate action taken within the shift period.
Any security incidents affecting breach of Security and Safety or criminal acts, immediately informed to the Security Manager and Security Supervisor.
Informed the ERT Team in the event of any emergency incidents and keep inform Security Manager & Security Supervisor for the direction.
Proper handing/taking over of Company\'s equipment and items under charge and to report to Security Supervisor if found damaged or lost.
Maintain a high standard of security and safety awareness among security personnel in his/her shift.
Establish and maintain good relationships with all departments to maintain the good collaboration and good practices.
Responsible for the proper operations and maintenance of Hershey Physical Access Control System (CCure), which includes CCTV System, Security Pass System, Contractor Management System, and the Visitor Management System.
Manage the Control Room Hotline.
Handle and follow up on daily routine security operational matters, directing to superiors if needed. This includes follow up action on feedbacks/complaints received.
Conduct security and basic incident investigations.
Participate in security contingency plan preparedness (e.g., evacuation, bomb threat, Food Defense Exercise etc.)
Support the Site in its BCP (Hershey Business Continuity Plans/LCMT), especially on Pandemic, Safety response plans and others where security is essential.
Assist in enforcing and maintaining the Security Procedure & Company Policy.
Support EHS/QRC/Operation matters for the Shift Enforcement team as any other critical business activity and promote safety culture by demonstrating visible leadership and commitment for the subordinates.
Supervise work activities to ensure accident-free work and safe working environment & enforce Security Rules and Regulations are adhered at all times.
Ensure the reporting of all Security & Safety incidents or Near Misses, including potential security risks.
Ensure to conduct personnel and vehicle searches upon entry/exit to site areas to ensure prohibited items are not brought into the site and that materials, tools and equipment are not removed without appropriate authorization.
Check to ensure that only authorized personnel are allowed to access to plant premises with valid Security Access Clearance.
Ensure that static security measures are intact and functioning, e.g., perimeter lighting and fencing, and foot patrols are scheduled and executed per schedule and update any findings in the system.
To attend the quarterly Security Training conducted by Protection Officer Lead & Security Supervisor.
Support the Security Manager/Security Supervisor with security audits, Security Risk Assessment, Food Defense compliance audits; investigative support, incident support, executive visits, crisis management exercises/drills, and other duties as assigned.
Maintain a good working relation with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including Management Staffs, Contractors, Vendors and Government Authorities while demonstrating the ability to find improvement opportunities in the Security Performance of Hershey Malaysia.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Security Certificates in Security or equivalent is required. Additional security training or education is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years security experience required / Working in Food Industries will be added advantage.
Proven working experience with law enforcement/military/private security agency.
Experience leading a team of law enforcement/military/Security personnel.
Ability to develop/maintain networking with relevant external stakeholders, e.g., law enforcement agencies.
Working knowledge of local laws e.g., Protected Areas Protected Places Act, Use of Force and Certified Security License.
Must be familiar with Security Procedure & Systems e.g., Access Control Systems and programming.
Must be familiar with security badging procedures for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Must be familiar with CCTV monitors and other video surveillance activities.
Must have a calm, pleasant demeanor, and the ability work well with others.
Able to work under stressful conditions by responding to unusual and unpredictable situations.
Must be familiar with the use of security officer equipment, i.e., radios, electronic devices used for tracking and reporting, etc.
Must possess a high degree of integrity with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding HSY Malaysia security matters.
