Located at a state of the art campus in EduCity, Iskandar, and a short distance from Singapore, the University of Reading Malaysia now seeks a dynamic individual to lead the organisation to the next stage of its development.The Provost/CEO (ASEAN) is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the University of Reading Malaysia. The scope of the role encompasses institutional vision and strategy, financial performance, academic standards, external engagement, planning, budgeting, business development, marketing, student-client management and human resources management. The postholder will be responsible for championing the next stage of strategic growth and impact, harnessing the unique qualities and cultural diversity of the ASEAN region and driving innovation to enhance the campus development and all academic activities.The successful candidate will bring an outstanding personal record of leadership achievement in a relevant academic context. With significant experience and knowledge of higher education in the ASEAN region, the next Provost/CEO will evidence exceptional strategic leadership combined with management skills; the ability to inspire and motivate across the organisation; and a high level of credibility at institutional and national/international level.
