POSITION : PRINCIPAL AUDITOR
POSITION GRADE : GRADE 24
VACANCY : 1 POSITION
PLACEMENT : MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL & AUTOMOTIVE SECTION

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the overall performance and business implementation of the group to sustain growth of the organization according to business plan;
Assist in the development of new certification schemes and repackaging of existing certification schemes in the respective business sector in compliance with the international guidelines/ standards and national/ regional/ international technical regulations.
Provide leadership in identification of resource needs and development of competence in technical areas in which the group operates
Responsible for ensuring that all audits and related activities are carried out in accordance with MSC procedures to maintain accreditation status
Responsible to contribute ideas and efforts to the development of systems and procedures to enhance the efficiency of management system certification and to maintain accreditation status
Responsible for carrying out management systems audits (plan, lead and conduct audits) in line with annual business plan targets.

REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive or Aerospace) with minimum of 4 years in the past 15 years working experience in manufacturing of products in automotive supply chain.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Having experience in design, manufacturing and/or quality assurance related activities in automotive supply chain.
Knowledge in Quality Management System based on ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and automotive core tools.
Experience in the third-party auditing/inspection/certification with good knowledge in auditing techniques & principle will be an advantage.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (both spoken and written) to support certification activities in China.
Willing to travel and possess own transport.
Willing to travel oversea and to be stationed in China to support the IATF 16949 certification operation
Good interpersonal skills to build up the appropriate level of rapport especially with organizations being audited
