Job Description


SYNC PR is looking for a PR and content consultant to manage clients and strategise campaigns for exciting startups based in Southeast Asia. At SYNC, we are changing the PR landscape and providing opportunities for exciting new startups and promising SMEs to gain publicity for their work and benefit from both PR and content. We help brands build their brand story, gain new clients and so much more. Here\'s what you\'ll learn: 1) How to build a PR strategy to help deliver outcomes that your client need Work with seasoned veterans in PR to develop PR strategies for startups and SMEs in a variety of fields Build content strategies to drive growth in challenging markets Work directly with industry leaders and entrepreneurs and learn on the job Measurement of success in both the PR and content industry 2) A deeper understanding of identifying customers and building a proper consumer profile Learn real business skills that are transferable across multiple industries and disciplines You\'ll develop an analytical process that is a valuable skill in any industry 3) Multi-market skills Learn and grow with your clients, as we take their business abroad Join a startup with a presence in Singapore, Malaysia, The Philippines, Indonesia and India Travel opportunities to learn in-market (once the pandemic ends) 1) Develop and executive PR and content marketing campaigns for clients Develop short, mid and long-term strategic Public Relations goals Pitch to top media outlets for company news, product announcements, profiles, features, and thought leadership pieces Identify and pursue media placement opportunities in targeted press outlets Develop content marketing campaigns along with the content team to cover a comprehensive media and content outreach campaign for your client 2) Develop media materials Develop some media collateral alongside the content team to provide insight and add value to the development process Create content marketing strategies for the content team to execute Experience Degree in Communications/Journalism/Public Relations or related field (preferred but not essential) Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity (fresh grads can be considered, but internship experience is a plus) Skills Required: Excellent writing and copy-editing skills The ability to work remotely is preferred Great storyteller Analytical thinker Experience or knowledge of media management and tracking tools Experience in a fast-paced industry Knowledge of the media scene and a willingness to learn General understanding of broader marketing, PR and other digital tactics Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) is a bonus What we\'re looking for in you: A desire to learn is a must Tech-savvy A keen interest in startups and new industries Flexibility in work style (we work remotely most of the time and keep in touch through Slack, Asana and email) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: RM 3,500.00 - RM 4,000.00 per month
