About the role

The Public Relations Executive will support Peduli Insan's communication and publicity efforts, ensuring the organization maintains a positive and credible image with the public, media, and partners. The role involves assisting with media relations, preparing press releases, and supporting the Humanitarian Icon in all public engagement activities related to Peduli Insan's humanitarian missions. The position is based in Shah Alam, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Humanitarian Icon in managing media appearances, interviews, and public engagements Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and official announcements to ensure accurate and timely communication Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to enhance Peduli Insan's visibility Plan and support PR campaigns, events, and media outreach activities that align with the organization's goals Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Project, and Fundraising) to ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging Create engaging content such as social media captions, articles, and human-interest stories that reflect the organization's humanitarian impact Monitor media coverage, manage PR documentation and reporting, and provide insights for communication improvement

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in PR, communications, or media Excellent communication and writing skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an added advantage Strong interpersonal, presentation, and networking skills Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities Able to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines Must have own transportation and be willing to travel for events or media-related assignments

Pay: RM3,100.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
