Job Summary : Responsible for developing and implementing an organization\'s PR and media strategy, building company reputation and maintaining a positive image of the company. Nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication, effective media coverage and media relations programs. Responsibilities : Organize and oversee PR activities and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, clients, media and the public. Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media Manage media inquiries and interview requests. Responding to requests for information release or press conference from the media or designating a spokesperson or source of information. Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations. Including writing press releases and other media communications to promote clients. Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results. Establishing andEstablishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community and public interest groups Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy Planning or directing the development of programs to maintain favorable public and stockholder views of the organization\'s objective and accomplishments. Coaching client representatives in effective communication with the public and employees. Studying the organization\'s objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products and services. Assisting in updating and maintaining Web content. Including sharing content with users on social media sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook Organizing events including press conferences, product launching, presentations and relevant PR events. Job Requirement : Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline. Computer confident, intermediate skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Proven working experience in public relations required Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns. Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews Exceptional writing and editing skills Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Strong relationships with local business and industry media outlets Event planning experience Minimum 5 years\' experience in public relations, either in-house or in an agency -Please include your expected salary details when applying for the role.
