Responsibilities

• Lead in the A-Z implementation of the plan including press releases, media launches, working with key influencers, media calls, media visits following internal SOPs.

• Work independently / lead a team of executives in day-to-day PR activities and ensure client\xe2\x80\x99s requirements are met with good standards.

• Develop, maintain and extend relationships with key clients, media and influencers.

• Perform day-to-day status checks on client\xe2\x80\x99s project portfolio.

• Ensure to consistently meet with client\xe2\x80\x99s deadlines with quality standards for the team on the projects they work on.

• Ensure smooth execution of PR activities and campaigns with meticulousness and strong leadership to the team.

• Basic Event management for clients for promotional launches or media related events, or manage partner event companies in the execution of the campaign

• Support the business development activities / pitches.

• Maintain keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and provide effective PR strategies.

• Responsible for daily media monitoring for own accounts and client alerts.

• Take initiative to expand expertise in Digital PR and influencer management. This will involve management of clients\xe2\x80\x99 social media platforms (content creations and implementation).

• To undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

• Possess at least a certification in Public Relations/Communications/ Media Studies or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of related working experience in agency/agencies, with at least 2 years in the managerial role.

• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with team members to carry out projects.

• Ability to work well independently and as a team, well organized, service-oriented, creative ad possess strong leadership qualities.

• Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

• Good attitude and ability to work well under stress in a MUST.

• Willing to work in extended hours and on Public Holidays when necessary.

• Must possess own transport for the ease of carrying out PR activities and meeting clients.

• To undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
