Purchase to Pay Senior Partner (Japanese Speaker) About the job The role is individual contributor within the Sanofi Business Services (SBS) JPAC Region drives the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) Process and Transformation initiatives with the guidance of the Head of Purchase to Pay. He/She will support & drive P2P initiatives in Japan & JPAC region from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in line with Sanofi SBS P2P Core Model and Hoshin priority. This individual main responsibility is to drive successful implementation of P2P Core Model, Target Operating Model & all P2P Transformation Initiatives in JPAC region to maximize P2P User Experience within Sanofi employee. The role also include management of P2P Business Process Outsource (BPO) partner performance and be the strong liaison between JPAC regional P2P team and Global P2P Global Process Owner and Process Lead. Main responsibilities: Improve P2P User Experience Prioritize P2P User Experience in all P2P activity and initiatives. Embraces metrics (SLAs/KPIs), actively seeks continuous improvement to simplify and automate Develop and sustain a strong sense of team spirit and cross team co-operation and mutual support to deliver value and seamless end-to-end service to users. Operational Excellence Effective rolling out of P2P priority and initiatives. Local P2P business partner for P2P users, Finance, Procurement, Internal Control, Ethics Business Integrity, other SBS Service Lines Enhance user experience with customer-first mindset to understand their requirements and pain points and collaborate with relevant teams to address them. Responsible for P2P process scope and development of local P2P support in line with the global and regional SBS operating model. Drive implementation of core model processes as defined by Global Process Owners and Regional Head of P2P and coordinate deviations to these standard processes. Ensure alignment of the interface between P2P, Procurement and Finance at local level, e.g. RACIs, P2P input / proof of concept on category strategies and category specific requirements. Collaboration with Global P2P Project Led to guide the design and implementation of key P2P projects within the operations at local legal entity. Embrace Vision and Mission Sanofi Business Services, Stakeholder Management Work collaboratively with internal business and function stakeholders including procurement, Finance, Business Unit, Internal Control. Internal & External Auditor and other SBS Service Lines. Compliance & Risk Management Sustain internal control environment through performing relevant internal controls and maintain process path compliance through enforcing procure to pay policies and procedures. Ensure that compliance and internal control standards are met locally. Ensure CSA (Control Self-Assessment) and Internal Audit controls (including Delegation of Authority, Segregation of Duties) are fully complied with and support audit activities. Transformation Initiatives Accountable for P2P initiatives/projects that are a priority focus to simplify and to increase Saving, Efficiency, Speed. Support Regional and Global P2P PTW Initiatives. Accountable for digitalization initiatives via P2P or BPO-related innovation and technology. Lead or support the deployment of global and regional projects in the country. Manage transformation projects including implementation of Core Model and Target Operating Model in the country. Manage transition activities to BPO Business Process Outsource (BPO) partner where required. Operational Performance Monitoring Manage and monitor the performance of external Business Process Outsource (BPO) partner operation. Coordinate and report improvement initiatives and their impact on the business. Support coordination of headcount and costs/OPEX for budget, actuals and forecast in the country. Participate in Customer Call and provide input and exchange information to enhance P2P Performance. About you Experience: Strong understanding of end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay processes (Vendor Master Data Management, Purchasing Sequence, Accounts Payable Process, Payment Compliance, Corporate Card and Travel & Expense) Soft skills: Good aptitude for Judgement. Ability to recognize and comprehend quickly and demonstrate analytical rigor and provide ideas and balance views Strong Drive, robust and agile to achieve P2P goal and objectives. Influencing skill. High self-awareness: able to work with people from various background and can recognize the context to achieve positive influence. The ability to approach a topic and grasp broad topic is important. Technical skills: eBuy, Coupa, Concur, SAP Exposure to P2P transformation initiatives, core model is a plus.
