Position: Purchaser cum Bookshop Assistant

Location: Seri Botani, Perak

Permanent position SOCSO & EPF Free Medical Insurance Food will be included/provided

Job Responsibilities:

Purchaser

1. Handle the monthly replenishment of staff pantry supplies.

2. Purchase cafeteria ingredients from local shops upon request, including items such as udon noodles, sauces, spices, and other essentials.

3. Coordinate the weekly procurement of items based on requisitions from Junior and Senior Chefs.

4. Carry out purchases as directed by the Superior to meet other departmental needs.

5. Assist in evaluating needs and perform verification prior to processing purchase requests.

6. Receive stock deliveries from suppliers and create accurate Goods Received Notes (GRNs) into the Engage software and scanning of documents.

Qualifications:

Required Skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Proficient in English communication skills (both written & verbal). Able to work independently, self-motivated, good interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in market research and analysis. Have accounting background. Strong negotiation and communication skills (both written & verbal).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
