Possess Diploma/ Bachelor\'s degree in business, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role.
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices. (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
Understanding of supply chain procedures.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office related software.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good attitude and responsible character.
Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
Willingness to make quick and thoughtful decisions on behalf of the business.

Responsibilities

Research potential vendors.
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
Manage supplier negotiations, key supplier relationships, and frame work agreements with suppliers.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
Prepares and reviews purchase orders.
Review quality of purchased products.
Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses.
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
Assists with negotiating settlement complaints and resolving disputes.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
Perform other office duties as assigned.
