Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

Reports to: Procurement Manager

DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Summary:

Our company is looking to fill the role for Purchasing Coordinator. The primary responsibility is to manage inventory, manage supply sources and to purchase materials and services to support manufacturing and anticipated demand for Sheet Metal Division.

This role and position requires a hard-working and reliable individual with strong ability to Multi-task and good work ethics in purchasing protocols and practices.

Key responsibilities:-

Maintain Part costs and vendor quote information in ERP/MES system for traceability and maintenance. Able to negotiate pricing with suppliers to reduce on cost of production or improve quality of parts. Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers. Raise PR/PO for Sheet Metal/Grinding, Fabricating, Machine setup, shears, brakes, bending, punch and drill presses to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal. Monitor inventory levels for all on-hand material, parts and WIP/ track and monitor delivery of purchased items and service. Responsible for procuring raw materials, MROs, etc supporting production needs. Responsible for monthly cycle count and month closing accuracy in system. Assist in setting up new part numbers, current product prices, costing etc into ERP/MES system. Prepare metal materials for required processes as per customer's requirements Prepare, schedules and coordinate with close monitoring assigned engineering projects. Able to collaborate with supporting team and manage resource effectively .

Qualifications and required skills:

2 - 3 years experience /Diploma in Purchasing Procurement exposure Experience in working with ERP/MES system Strong in negotiation skills and communication with all liaison Analytical and problem-solving skills Maths and M/S skills Able to cope with pressure and adapt to situations

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
