Job Description

s:

To purchase all raw materials, packing materials, indirect materials, spare parts, packing materials, general purchase & services and expedite the on time delivery according to procedures. To source, select, negotiate & ensure that all vendors always provide products & services according to approved purchasing policies and procedures. Evaluate vendor performance. To coordinate with Account on cash flow forecast, vendor's payments, bank guarantee or Letter of Credit application depend on payment mode. To coordinate with forwarding agents on preparing & collection of shipping documents to ensure the custom clearance can be done smoothly. To coordinate with Logistics team and suppliers on controlling of container in/outward delivery schedule. Keep abreast and analyse the trends in commodity and vendor pricing and sales activity to determine correct timing of purchases. Ensuring ISO compliance of the documentations. Perform supplier management process to ensure company receives quality products and services. Other tasks assigned by the superior.

Experience And Skill

Minimum 2 years working experience in similar capacity. Familiar with import and export procedures, government / custom documentation is an added advantage. Good listening, communications and negotiating skills Experience in sourcing and negotiating with overseas suppliers Proficient use in Microsoft Office software, and any inventory / warehouse management and distribution software
Salary range: Negotiable (requiring relevant experience)

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,499.00 per month
