Job scope

  • Research potential vendors
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
  • Negotiate contract terms of theagreement on pricing, quality and delivery.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Review thequality of purchased products
  • Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
Requirements
  • Possess at least an SPM, Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Business Management/Administration or related field
  • At least 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years of purchasing/buyer experience in any industry. Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
  • Computer literate and excellent knowledge in MS Office
  • Interest in market dynamics along with a business sense
  • Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
  • Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and other Chinese dialects is advantageous
