Job brief We are looking for a Purchasing Executive to order supplies and equipment based on our company\xe2\x80\x99s needs. Purchasing Executive responsibilities include researching new vendors, tracking deliveries and updating order records (e.g. dates invoices and discounts.) If you\xe2\x80\x99re familiar with supply chain procedures and know how to create and translate cost analyses, we\xe2\x80\x99d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain a fully stocked inventory. Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs \xe2\x80\xa2 Research potential vendors \xe2\x80\xa2 Track orders and ensure timely delivery \xe2\x80\xa2 Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts) \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct market research to identify pricing trends \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare cost analyses \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition Requirements and skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Work experience as a Purchasing executive, Purchasing officer or similar role \xe2\x80\xa2 Good understanding of supply chain procedures \xe2\x80\xa2 Hands-on experience with purchasing software (e.g. SQL) \xe2\x80\xa2 Advanced knowledge of MS Excel \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of market research \xe2\x80\xa2 Solid organizational skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Mandarin speaking & writing \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate must possess at least higher secondary / advanced or graduated diploma, or any equivalent/related field of study. \xe2\x80\xa2 3 year(s) of working experience in related industry & department will be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Resourceful, responsive, reliable and ability to interact with people at all levels. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal skills, responsible, committed, highly effective, dynamic and results-oriented.
