Overall job objectives To ensure that procurements meet the Company\xe2\x80\x99s requirement in term of delivery time line, quality and cost. Core responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Responsible for sourcing, request quotations, and price negotiation with suppliers for tender and project assigned. \xc2\xb7 To generate Purchase Order and send to Supplier (local purchase) or HQ (oversea purchase) for all items of the project, except paint, packing and maintenance. \xc2\xb7 Monitor and follow up on supplier\xe2\x80\x99s shipment or delivery to ensure that item purchased is delivered within the time line. \xc2\xb7 Feedback and follow up the issues regarding quality, shortage and warranty claim with suppliers. \xc2\xb7 To observe factory direct cost to vendors. \xc2\xb7 Co-ordinate with Project / Material Planning / Production team to understand and fulfill their needs for smooth operations. \xc2\xb7 To initiate the sourcing of materials after the first kick-off meeting and follow up closely with the Material Planning team on PR. \xc2\xb7 To plan and combine the purchase of same raw materials under few orders for more competitive price from the suppliers. \xc2\xb7 Ensure item purchase is within budget. Any over budget shall raise alert to project department, Management and HQ immediately. \xc2\xb7 Ensure ERP system is update with all procurement for month-end accounts formulation. \xc2\xb7 Generate and submit on-going Summary Report and monthly Procurement reports on project basis to HQ and management and reply HQ if any query raises. \xc2\xb7 Develop and evaluate new vendors to ensure requirements and pricing objectives are met. \xc2\xb7 To act as a back-up of the group members and assist in procurement of the project assigned in the absence of the other party. \xc2\xb7 Carry out other ad-hoc tasks as been assigned by Management from time to time. Salary: RM2,254.14 - RM4,266.98 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Buyer/Purchaser: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Mandarin (Preferred)
