Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities: -

Conduct all purchasing activities for the business. To source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services from suppliers. Identify and prose new suppliers for short-listing. Setup effective pricing strategies and inventory controls. Prepare purchase requisition/purchase order and send to supplier and notify respective department person in-charge. Placing orders and expediting deliveries with supplier on urgent basis. To coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Liaise with forwarding agents on shipping and customs clearance. Follow-up on materials complaint with user and suppliers. Response to respective person about the order status, changes or cancellation. Maintain quotation files and purchasing contract review process. Involve in company's ISO requirements. Prepare of C1 and C3 pertaining to SST exemption. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Business Admin/ Accounts/ Purchasing. Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in the related industry will be an added advantage. Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers. Experience in using ERP and Microsoft will be in added advantage, possess good. Strong communication skill in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Candidate must be able to read and write in Chinese (via WeChat app/Email) to effectively communicate with our suppliers in China and to review documentation/contract. Demonstrated excellence in organizational, planning, judgement, selling and negotiating skills. Knowledge of vendor sourcing practices Excellent time management and organization skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
