Designation: Purchasing Executive

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Purchasing Executive

to manage sourcing, supplier coordination, regulatory compliance, and shipment activities. The role requires strong knowledge of purchasing operations, supplier negotiations, and Malaysian regulatory standards, along with the ability to manage documentation and cross-border supplier communication.

Key ResponsibilitiesPurchasing & Supplier Management

Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and timely delivery of materials Issue Purchase Orders and create/maintain Material Master records Manage shipment arrangements from PO issuance through arrival at warehouse or site
Regulatory Compliance & Certification

Ensure all purchased items comply with Malaysian standards and regulatory requirements Prepare, submit, and follow up on applications for:

SIRIM

(product certification, testing reports, labeling requirements)

Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)

- Certificate of Approval (COA) for electrical products

Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC)

- device certifications Track and ensure timely renewal of all required certificates and licenses Maintain proper filing and documentation for all regulatory submissions and approvals
Coordination & Audit Support

Liaise with testing laboratories, consultants, suppliers, and government authorities as required Support internal and external audits related to product compliance and import controls Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement and compliance processes
Role RequirementsEducation

Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience

Minimum

3 years of experience

in purchasing or procurement operations (preferred)
Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in

Mandarin (written and spoken)

for liaising with suppliers based in China and Taiwan (mandatory) Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills High attention to detail with strong documentation control Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Good working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) Proficient in

Microsoft Excel

and

Microsoft PowerPoint


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM3,000.00 per month
