Job Description

We are seeking a Purchasing Executive to play a pivotal role in setting up, coordinating and optimizing the purchases operations for our new energy storage manufacturing plant. This role will focus on raw material sourcing for steel body, BMS, wiring harness, liquid cooling, PCS. Involve in semi-product sourcing for Such as battery cells, transformers, EMS etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Responsible for the end-to end procurement process, from supplier identification to delivery. Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers for key materials and components, including fabrication parts, BMS components, electrical accessories, liquid cooling parts, power conversion system modules etc. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics providers to ensure timely and compliant delivery of imported materials. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships. Conduct supplier audits, performance, evaluations and risk assessments. Collaborate closely with Facility, Production and Quality teams to align procurement activities with technical and project requirements. Monitor market trends, raw materials price movements and identify new suppliers to improve cost and supply efficiency. Manage inventory levels and coordinate delivery schedules. Maintain accurate procurement records, reports and documentation for management review

QUALIFICATION:-

Diploma or Bachelor's Degre in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. Minimum 2-5 years of relevant purchasing / procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing, energy storage and electrical industries. Experience in international sourcing of raw materials, electrical or electronics components. Knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import and export regulations and trade compliance. Strong negotiation, communication and vendor management skills. Good knowledge of procurement best practices, cost analysis and supply chain management. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and BOMs will be an added advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, PowerPoint) and ERP systems. Strong Analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills. Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be willing to work in Jeram, Kuala Selangor.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
