Working experience: At least 2 years in Purchasing or Accounting is required for this position.
Required skills: Independent, basic accounting and technical knowledge in Marine and Land Transport is an added advantage.
Preferably candidates specialized in Purchasing/ Inventory/ Material & Warehouse Management with Basic Accounting.
Possess own transport with valid D license and willing to travel.
Aggressive and fast learner.
Good attitude and responsible character.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Target oriented and ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
Computer literate and numerate.
Exhibit strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
Independent with persuasive interpersonal skills and results-driven.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY WORK: Handling full purchasing function for entire DMC Group of Companies located at PD, Kemaman and Sabah.
SECONDARY WORK: Assisting accounting department in accounting related works (routine and ad hoc).
Liaising with Operation Department on sourcing of vessel/ lorry parts or material to ensure the continuity of company marine/ land operations without any disruptions.
Maintaining prudent purchasing system to adhere company\'s budget and cost saving effort.
To source for alternative suppliers/ vendor.
To work closely with Group Operations Manager and Group Finance Manager.
