Job Description

• Working experience: At least 2 years in Purchasing or Accounting is required for this position.
• Required skills: Independent, basic accounting and technical knowledge in Marine and Land Transport is an added advantage.
• Preferably candidates specialized in Purchasing/ Inventory/ Material & Warehouse Management with Basic Accounting.
• Possess own transport with valid D license and willing to travel.
• Aggressive and fast learner.
• Good attitude and responsible character.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Target oriented and ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
• Computer literate and numerate.
• Exhibit strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
• Independent with persuasive interpersonal skills and results-driven.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• PRIMARY WORK: Handling full purchasing function for entire DMC Group of Companies located at PD, Kemaman and Sabah.
• SECONDARY WORK: Assisting accounting department in accounting related works (routine and ad hoc).
• Liaising with Operation Department on sourcing of vessel/ lorry parts or material to ensure the continuity of company marine/ land operations without any disruptions.
• Maintaining prudent purchasing system to adhere company\'s budget and cost saving effort.
• To source for alternative suppliers/ vendor.
• To work closely with Group Operations Manager and Group Finance Manager.
