Job Description
Location: Bayan Lepas, Penangs:
- Responsible for procuring products from suppliers, negotiating contracts, and obtaining the best pricing and terms.
- Monitoring stock levels, tracking product movement, assist in stock planning.
- Reordering items as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Assist in sourcing new suppliers when required.
- To create various merchandising, sales, and stock-related reports for each outlet by extracting important data such as purchase records, sales records, stock holdings, stock aging, and selling prices.
- Consolidate all related reports to generate Group-level reports for management, operations team, and other stakeholders to analyze and make decisions.
- Consistently update and review purchasing, sales, costing, retail pricing, and sales promotion data in reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- To modify vendor and product listings.
- Prepare and generate any ad-hoc reports necessary by the supervisor.
- Diploma or Degree in any field.
- Minimum 1-year experience in retail purchasing.
