\xe2\x80\xa2 To handle all oversea requisition, import shipments (vessel & insurance) and negotiating with suppliers for the best price. \xe2\x80\xa2 To evaluate new supplier\xe2\x80\x99s performance, conduct re-evaluation of approved suppliers annually and update approved supplier list (ASL) from time to time. \xe2\x80\xa2 To supervise the purchasing department, making sure best price, quality and delivery time is monitored. \xe2\x80\xa2 To verify the goods received with the requestor/storekeeper against the supplier D/O, Purchase order and Purchase Requisition, to ensure that the order is correct prior to endorse the supplier\xe2\x80\x99s D.O. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform document-matching job (e.g Invoice, delivery order & P/O) before submission to accounts department. \xe2\x80\xa2 To represent purchasing division as a departmental representative (DR). \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure that the purchasing documentation and records adhered to the ISO requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Revise ISO procedures in purchasing department if there are any changes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the purchasing documentations and records are as per ISO requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure the purchase order prepared is according to the requirement stated in the approved purchase requisition. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for suppliers NCR analysis reports and corrective action against them, evaluating supplier performance base on quality standard, delivery time and best prices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Source for more suitable suppliers on competitive prices and quality products or material. \xe2\x80\xa2 Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with suppliers. \xe2\x80\xa2 To carry out and record risk assessment performance for purchasing department. \xe2\x80\xa2 All ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the Management from time to time.
