Job Description

  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Forecast price and markets trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
  • Locate vendors of materials , equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and term of sales.
  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
  • Control purchasing department budget.
  • Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
  • Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitutes materials.
  • Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
  • Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree or above at relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in related field.
  • Able to work independently.
