Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of XSD International Paper Sdn. Bhd. purchasing operations for equipment from China Market. \xef\x83\x98 Regularly evaluates vendors/suppliers and advises Controller and Operations Manager when vendors are not meeting requirements. Recommends potentials vendors/suppliers when necessary. \xef\x83\x98 Ensure that all equipment purchases are in line with company policies and procedures. \xef\x83\x98 Ensure that all procured equipment meet the required quality standards and specifications. \xef\x83\x98 Conduct analysis of a target market to identify and get the best purchasing deals. \xef\x83\x98 Conduct negotiations with suppliers/vendors to determine equipment price, delivery schedule, and credit terms for the payment. \xef\x83\x98 Supervise the entire purchasing process of XSD International Paper, ensure the purchasing staff are prepare and issues purchase orders correctly. \xef\x83\x98 Liaison with suppliers/vendors for settlement of procurement issue, when necessary. \xef\x83\x98 Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers/vendors. \xef\x83\x98 Produce regular reports on purchase commitments, costs and delivery performance as well as provide improvement to the management level. \xef\x83\x98 Responsible for carrying out assessments to identify suppliers capable of delivering high quality equipment/services within set time constraints. \xef\x83\x98 Responsible for evaluating and selecting the vendors/suppliers based on the quality, credit reference check and performance. \xef\x83\x98 Develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with equipment suppliers in support of organizational requirements. \xef\x83\x98 Manage daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks to ensure equipment purchased from China are installed and operate properly. \xef\x83\x98 Responsible for continuous improvement of purchasing processes in line with changing organizational needs and market conditions. \xef\x83\x98 Responsible for obtaining the most economical purchasing of inventory/equipment to improve the company\xe2\x80\x99s cash flow/financial performance. Prepare periodically reports to the management as well as Finance manager to review the overall company\xe2\x80\x99s financial performance.
