A Purchasing Manager for a Chemical company based in Selangor. Your new company This company is well-known in the Chemical industry based in Selangor. They are currently looking for a Purchasing Manager with people management experience to join them in their manufacturing hub. Your new role As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for suppliers sourcing to ensure that quality and cost of materials/services are up to business standards. You will also be responsible in making sure that the department KPI are achieved through thorough evaluation and enhancement of the purchasing policies. You will be liaising with vendors and internal departments to make sure that the materials/services received are in the best quality. You will also be responsible for on-time-delivery of imported and exported goods by working closely with shipping and forwarding agents. You will also be tasked on mentoring your team members to ensure optimum work performance in the team. What you\'ll need to succeed To be successful in this role you must have: . Solid years of experience in leading the end-to-end Purchasing/Procurement function. . Working background in chemical industry will be an added advantage. . Proficiency English and Mandarin speaking and writing for business purpose. . Have good understanding in shipping, custom rules and logistic practices. . Proven leadership experience in managing direct subordinates.
