Job Description
- This role manages department operations and purchasing strategies, including oversight of LMW compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of machine parts and maintaining supplier quality.
- Leading the purchasing department
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring effective human resource management and strategic planning.
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies to support organizational objectives.
- Conduct thorough supplier assessments and evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.
- Manage Local Customs Warehouse (LMW) processes, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Ensure timely delivery of machine parts to meet assembly and market needs.
- Drive continuous improvement projects in collaboration with local management and German counterparts.
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong team collaboration and effective communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage stress and take on responsibilities.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in procuring technical items.
- Exceptional skills in intercultural understanding, motivation, management, and negotiation.
