To oversee sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing functions.
Responsible to conduct Supplier Market Analysis.
Evaluate supplier performance and build relationships with suppliers.
Conduct and oversee negotiations for purchasing contracts to secure favorable terms that align with company interests.
Manage all aspects of supplier contracts, including contract renewals, terminations, and compliance monitoring, to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
Oversee logistics and import operations.
Ensure on time delivery.
Coordinate with material planners to ensure alignment with production schedules and forecast demand.
Control inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock, improving inventory turnover and efficiency.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the purchasing team, promoting a collaborative, results-oriented work culture.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant study.
5-6 years of team management experience within Purchasing/Procurement or similar function
Applicant with experience in Manufacturing Purchasing (Preferably FMCG) is added advantage
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers
Experience managing forwarders and import operations
Strong interpersonal and people management skills
Proficient in MS.Excel and Data Analysis
Applicants with SAP system is added advantage
