Job Description

Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and placing orders with supplier for the packing materials, chemical materials, factory supplies, and electronic parts. Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Negotiation to obtain best price, Incoterm, payment term, best MOQ and good quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand inventory requirements and plan procurement activities accordingly. Review APS/MRP reports, negotiate with suppliers, and plan delivery schedules accordingly. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to purchasing activities. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner. Update suppliers on rejected / NG parts and follow up to expedite corrective actions or past-due NG reports when required. Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the purchasing team. Perform other duties as assigned by the company from time to time.
Requirement

At least Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field. Strong understanding of Incoterm Proven working experience in a manufacturing environment. Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels. Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with MRP systems and reporting. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
