To ensure all products and processes meet quality standards and customer requirements within a
cleanroom manufacturing environment
. The QA Engineer will be responsible for maintaining quality systems, monitoring production quality, managing supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement. Candidates with
semiconductor industry experience
, particularly involving
gas boxes, control panels, or high-purity systems
, are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance & Process Control
Oversee quality control activities for
cleanroom production
processes, ensuring compliance with internal and customer specifications.
Implement inspection procedures for mechanical, electrical, and assembly components, especially related to
gas boxes, control panels, and precision assemblies
.
Monitor and analyze in-process inspection data to ensure consistent product performance and reliability.
2. Quality System & Documentation
Develop and maintain QA documentation such as inspection plans, control plans, FMEA, and process audit reports.
Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
,
ISO 14001
, and relevant semiconductor quality standards.
Participate in internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions.
3. Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving
Lead investigations into product or process non-conformities and customer complaints.
Identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with Engineering and Production to ensure quality improvements are sustained.
4. Supplier & Incoming Quality Control
Conduct inspection and verification of incoming materials and supplier parts, especially critical components used in gas and electrical systems.
Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve incoming material performance.
Support supplier audits and development programs to ensure quality consistency.
5. Cleanroom & Equipment Management
Monitor compliance with cleanroom protocols and ESD controls to prevent contamination or quality deviation.
Ensure all inspection and testing tools are calibrated and suitable for cleanroom use.
Participate in validation and qualification of new equipment, fixtures, or processes.
6. Continuous Improvement & Reporting
Collect and analyze production quality data to identify trends and improvement areas.
Support continuous improvement initiatives such as
Kaizen, Lean, and 8D problem solving
.
Prepare quality performance reports and present findings to management and cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma
in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience
in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within a
semiconductor or cleanroom manufacturing environment
.
Hands-on experience with
gas boxes, control panels, high-purity gas systems
, or related mechanical/electrical assemblies.
Strong knowledge of
quality tools and methodologies
(5 Why, 8D, FMEA, SPC, Control Plan).
Familiar with
ISO 9001 / IATF 16949
standards and cleanroom protocols.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality analysis software/tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
