Family Description:

Implements and maintains quality assurance/ quality control protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution. Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. GLP, GMP, ISO, Six Sigma).

Knowledge and Technical Skills: * Learns to use basic scientific or engineering concepts within a designated functional area.

• Develops knowledge in processes and procedures specific to job function, e.g. process/ equipment qualification and development PCR, FMEA, DOE, SPC, runcards, EPR, Tool Lockdown, PV system design and construction.

Complexity: * Works on problems of limited scope.

• Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can readily be obtained.
• Builds stable working relationships internally.
• Applies problem- solving techniques to provide insight into root cause.

Minimum Education and Experience: * B.S. degree in Engineering and 0+ years of related experience
