Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

Serve as key liaison between customers and internal teams on quality-related matters. Manage customer complaints, ensuring fast containment, thorough root cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions. Maintain accurate and timely communication through customer portals and in-person/online reviews. Coordinate and validate FA inspections for new and revised parts. Review discrepancies before parts proceed to mass production. Participate in NPI project teams to ensure quality requirements are defined early in the development cycle. Lead supports the development of control plans, PFMEA, and inspection standards. Ensure all APQP and PPAP deliverables are met submitted to the customer on time. Analyze quality performance data (e.g. PPM, scrap rates, rework, cost of poor quality). Use statical tools (e.g. SPC, Pareto analysis, trend charts) to identify recurring or emerging trends. Develop dashboards and quality KPIs to support decision making and improvement tracking. Lead cross-functional teams in quality improvement projects (e.g. Lean six sigma,Kaizen) Use structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3, DMAIC) to eliminate root causes. Promote a culture of continuous improvement across departments. Work directly with customer to co-develop improvement programs targeting defect reduction. Share analysis and proposals for quality improvements based on customer feedback and internal data. Monitor and report progress on joint initiatives and quality roadmaps. Support audits (internal, customer, and third-party) and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained. Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer specific quality systems. Contribute to the development and revision of quality procedures and standards. Participate and contribute effectively to the periodical quality review. Perform any other assignment instructed by the superior.

Job Requirements:

Minimum diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3 years experiences preferably in metal stamping and metal sheet fabrication. Knowledge of ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO13485/IATF16949. Familiar with APQP/PPAP and knowledge of CMM.
Hands on QC Tools (8Ds, FMEA etc.).

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
