Job Description

To ensure that the company's QA Program, Food Safety & Quality Systems are properly implemented by the respective departments and to ensure that the products are produced according to specifications and requirements.

Major Duties / Areas of Responsibility



To implement quality and food safety activities in Debone plant. To coordinate pest control activities To plan, coordinate and review QC technicians' activities To conduct customer complaints investigation and corrective action. To communicate and work with Debone team and other relevant parties in resolving issues. To analyze data collected and report accordingly.

Specific Responsibilities of the Job



1. To implement and evaluate quality and food safety activities in relevant areas.

Visit plant to verify QA activities, GMP/GHP/product handling, adherence to documented SOP, facilities and equipment's cleanliness and condition etc.
b. Ensure that meat and finished products are processed according to: -

QAP HACCP programmed HALAL requirements
2. To plan, coordinate and review QC technicians' activities

a. Train & evaluate QC competency on GMP, HACCP & SOP.

b. Monitor QC work schedule, OT, discipline, work output/quality/accuracy, calibration.

c. Provide the QC Tech with the necessary product specifications.

d. Review QC Tech records/checklist and ensure that effective corrective actions are taken for non-conformances found during the checks.

e. Ensure calibration for all monitoring and measuring devices are conducted on timely basis.

f. Communicate related info to subordinates so that they are always updated and well informed of new requirements, product specifications, SOP etc.

g. Development and implement quality checks

h. Control & monitor labor and variable cost relevant to the area assigned.

i. Conduct/coordinate study for process and/or product improvement, as and when appropriate.

3. To conduct customer complaints investigation and corrective action.

a. Carry out customer complaint investigation and prepare investigation report. Ensure effective corrective actions are taken by the respective departments to prevent recurrence of the problem

b. Visit customers' outlet or premises for complaint investigation.

4. To analyze collected data and report accordingly.

a. Review microbe results for debone products and take necessary action when the results are non- conforming.

b. Conduct data summary/analysis on relevant area/department's performance in terms of food safety and quality management

i. Monthly GMP Inspection

ii. Microbe test results for debone products, swab test, air & water

c. To prepare presentation material for

i. Plant Meeting

ii. ISO MRM

iii. HACCP MRM and other relevant meetings, as and when required.

6. To coordinate pest control activities

a. Liaise with pest control operator (PCO) on pest finding/activities, documents updates, treatment scheduling.

b. Monitor PCO's performance accordingly.

c. Check invoices forwarded by PCO before submitting for approval.

d. Review weekly and monthly service reports.

e. Prepare documents for contract renewal.

f. Coordinate with the plants on action plans for issues highlighted by PCO.

7. Perform any other duties as and when required by the management from time to time.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
