Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards specific to the food industry.
Establish quality goals and objectives in alignment with organizational goals.
Prepare and maintain quality assurance plans and schedules.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Identify defects, deviations, and non-compliance issues, and implement corrective actions.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
Develop and execute test plans, including sensory, microbiological, chemical, and physical tests.
Perform routine testing to ensure product safety, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Document and report testing results, defects, and issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Maintain and update quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), HACCP plans, and quality manuals.
Prepare reports and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance product quality and safety.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Evaluate and monitor supplier quality and performance.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve product quality.
Provide training and support to employees on quality assurance processes and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues.
Serve as a liaison between the QA department and other departments, including production, R&D, and procurement.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology or equivalent.
Preferably with minimum 1 year working experience in Food Industry, fresh grad is welcoming.
Handling HALAL system, conduct internal audit and supplier audit.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards is highly preferred.
Good in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Able to work independently.
