Position Summary

1. To oversee whole QA department including system implementation to ensure QA functions operate smoothly.
2. Oversee the whole QA Systems IATF16949 / ISO9001 /ISO13485 / ISO14001 / ISO45001.

Job responsibilities:

Ensure competence of QA team to perform daily QA/ QC inspection activities & meeting the QMS, EHS & CSR Management System and medical device requirements. Preparing and maintain Standard Operating Procedure, Work Instruction and other documentation in Armstrong Technology Penang operation. Prepare & review Monthly report, identified top scrap part and coordinate improvement action Carried interrelations duties with others department in accordance with "QA system flow chart" & SOP. Closely supervision on set target (KPI & EMP target) and perform timely evaluation & improvement actions, to correct any deficiencies or weaknesses on current system. Communicate internal non-conformance issues, co-ordinate with relevant HODs on improvement actions required on poor performance and propose corrective action plans to prevent recurrence Oversee for on time submission of customer documents eg: ISIR, PPAP, SPC, APQP, MSA, Inspection Agreement as per required by customer. Handle customer audit, manage customer complaint and reply the nonconformance item & ensure corrective action reply on time. Implement Quality plan to improve QA System, reduce scrap, to correct any deficiencies or weaknesses and recommend corrective measures. Participate in new project development, review DFM, attend new part buy off activities. Prepare departmental IQ, OQ, PQ process/ software validation report. Perform audit to identify areas of inconsistency & potential improvement. Provide training and close supervision of staff, target setting and performance appraisals. Authorize stop lines and recall products from all locations. Issue a non- conformance report to the process owner if non-conformities are found and authorize the disposition of MRB (Material Review Board) materials. Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of working experience in related field is required for this position. Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree, or equivalent Effective written and oral communication skills. Computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.

Technical

Knowledge in 5 core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA & SPC), DOE, 8D problem solving. Good measurement skills, able to interpret drawing and GD&T. Working experience in ISO system, IQC, IPQC, OQC, Calibration and related job functions. Good Auditing skills

Non-Technical

Basic knowledge and use of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
