Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

1. Quality Procedures & Standards

Determine, negotiate, and implement in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications. Review and update product and process specifications regularly.

2. Customer Quality Management

Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes. Liaise with customers to address complaints, feedback, and quality concerns via Corrective Action Reports (CAR).

3. Supplier Quality Assurance

Set quality standards for raw materials and monitor supplier compliance. Work with procurement and supply chain teams to manage and evaluate supplier performance.

4. Compliance & Process Control

Ensure manufacturing processes comply with internal and external standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001). Investigate and set standards for quality, health, and safety.

5. Operational QA Support

Work closely with production and operations teams to establish QA procedures, standards, and systems. Oversee product development procedures to ensure quality standards are met.

6. Team Leadership & Training

Supervise and provide guidance to QA team members. Identify training needs and conduct quality-related training programs.

7. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Resolve internal and external quality issues effectively and in a timely manner.

8. Statistical & Documentation Control

Record, analyse, and report statistical data on product quality. Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and audits.

9. Projects & Improvement Initiatives

Handle ad-hoc quality improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Experience :

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance within the

metal stamping

or manufacturing industry. Preferably at a managerial or supervisory level.

2. Certifications & Skills

:

Familiar with CAR, FMEA, 8D, and SPC. Strong understanding of quality tools, standards, and customer requirements

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
