Job Description

Responsibility:

• To develop effective quality control processes, quality control plan for production flow.
• Responsible for the QA / QC of incoming raw material, in process and outgoing finished goods inspection.
• Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.
• Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback.
• Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Coordinate customer feedback or complaints and ensure that corrective actions are initiated, implemented and maintained in Production;
• Compile and analyze internal quality performance and identify area for improvement.
• To liaise with supplier on quality issues with close monitoring and follow up.
• Work with Operations & Engineering team for continuous improvement.
• Ensure proper document control, effective filing systems and that relevant records are available at all times;
• Monitor quality trend chart and monthly report to management.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or HOD.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School / SPM / \xe2\x80\x9cO\xe2\x80\x9d level, Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in the field of light industry manufacturing in QA / QC and more than 2 years of experience as quality supervisor.
• Ability to work independently, self-discipline and no colour blind.
• Able to read technical/ engineering drawing and work instruction.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, etc.
• We will prioritize candidate who could master the quality system of ISO9001 internal audit knowledge.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Candidate able to converse in mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Possess own transport and must be willing to work in Nusajaya, Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru.
