Job Description

Responsibility:

1. Guide and lead a team of QA Leaders and Inspectors to ensure the smooth operations of IPQC and OQC inspection and test systems to achieve the department objectives, organization quality policy, and objectives.

2. Supervise the operations of the inspection areas that are assigned to him/her. Frequently conduct product and process audits to ensure that all inspection and test procedures/methods are strictly followed by all inspectors.

3. Verify, compile, and file all the inspection/test records.

4. Plan, schedule, and conduct on-the-job training and education programs for all new and existing MQA Leaders and Inspectors to ensure their understanding of the inspection/test requirements, and their competence in defect detection and inspection judgment.

5. Work closely with all the departments concerned, suppliers, and subcontractors on lot rejection and quality issues.

6. Frequently review the quality performance at in-house, suppliers, and subcontractors. Work with MQA Engineer on the strategies/plans to upgrade in-house, suppliers, and subcontractors' quality performance.

7. Act as a communication bridge between management and inspector workforce. Responsible for the welfare of subordinates and the effective handling of grievances raised by subordinates.

8. Implement and maintain a suitable working environment for his/her subordinates through the implementation of 5S and safety requirements.

9. Always set himself/herself as a good example for the subordinates to follow.

10. Recommend solutions for improvement in quality, productivity, and work efficiency to increase customer satisfaction.

11. Perform any job as and when requested by the superior.

Authority:

1. Recommend to stop production/shipment that may cause customer dissatisfaction.

2. Take necessary actions on subordinates' discipline.

3. Request corrective actions from the responsible departments and reject corrective action reports that are inappropriate/inadequate.

Qualification (Education, Experience, Skill):

1. SPM or above.

2. Minimum 3 years working experience in Quality Assurance.

3. Possess leadership quality.
