Job Description

s:

1. To perform daily quality inspection on parts received, ensure specification & process requirements are met.
2. Area of coverage may include vendor incoming inspection, in-process inspection, out-going inspection & machine buy-off.
3. Review & monitor CMM room temperature & humidity daily tracking.
4. External & internal calibration activities arrangement, calibration certificate verification & calibration sticker/s updating.
5. Verification on the issue feedback by inspector. Communication with production for improvement.
6. Communicate with the internal customer to investigate & solve the issue.
7. Perform source inspection at vendor sites.
8. Assist QA Engineer on quality data collection and data analysis for the weekly KPI reporting or any other investigation and study.
9. To assist QA Engineer on daily job arrangements. Ensure all daily assignments are complete within the required time frame.
10. To supervise the inspection team performance, identify team weakness & drive for improvement.
11. To provide training for the inspectors to improve inspection skills.
12. To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Job Requirements:

1. Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent years of related experience.
2. Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance, QC tools, Statistical Process Control, CMM or any other high accuracy measuring equipment training.
3. Minimum of >5 to 8 years working experience in hands-on quality inspection of fabrication on Metal Work, CNC high precision machining or tool & die fabrication. Senior technician role, work independently & communicate well with process owner and sub-con. Preparing weekly/monthly reports.
4. Good understanding on engineering drawing & tolerance. Able to establish general inspection plan, identify measuring instruments needed. Plan for future project needs thru project review. Able to operate high accuracy measuring equipment such as bore gauge, roughness tester, electronic height gauge, CMM(With programming skill) & direct contact inspection equipment(Height gauge, drop gauge, dial indicator & block gauges. Strong data analysis skill.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
