Plan, coordinate, and execute all M&E project quality assurance and quality control tasks for MNC Semiconductor industrial Tool
Install Progressive Build (TIPB) and Small Project General Contractor (SPGC) projects.
Work independently to ensure proper project execution during each phase, meeting client project quality requirements and industrial material construction specifications.
Prepare Method of Statements (MOS), installation procedures, and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for assigned systems, ensuring work quality aligns with MOS, shop drawings, schedules, and industrial material construction specifications.
Manage the implementation of project quality control on-site for mechanical or electrical distribution systems, HVAC, cleanroom, and process utility systems.
Verify construction shop drawings for compliance with industrial material construction specifications and escalate any issues to the design and project teams.
Attend daily WPRB and toolbox meetings.
Participate in weekly QAQC alignment meetings with clients, SMBWA line walks, and OAC meetings. * Arrange pre-installation line walks with the client PM and operations team to identify and report site anomalies.
Coordinate material receiving inspections (MRI) with third-party quality consultants appointed by the client, ensuring materials match approved submittal drawings and delivery orders.
Prepare and fill in cleanroom construction checklists before, during, and after construction.
Compare site installations with IFC drawings and prepare Site Observation Reports (SOR).
Coordinate line walks with third-party quality consultants to address and close SORs.
Arrange design verification line walks with the operations team, client PM, and third-party quality consultants after tool/equipment installation and before T&C.
Schedule M&E QAQC testing with the operations team, client PM, and third-party quality consultants post-installation, filling in the T&C documents (FAT, OAT).
Attend and witness factory acceptance tests, completing the respective checklists.
Review subcontractor or supplier quality document submissions (Quality plans, Inspection Test Plans, procedures) to ensure effective controls.
Conduct site inspections for electrical installations, electrical equipment, cable laying, cable jointing, and mechanical piping systems (OFA, PV, PCW) as per approved inspection and test plans.
Witness and validate QAQC tests performed by subcontractors, ensuring compliance with client quality standards.
Collaborate with the internal project team to schedule material receiving inspections, Inspection Test Plan schedules (ITP), and close Site Observation Records (SOR) and punch lists on time.
Update red line drawings and prepare handover documents.
Liaise with clients (PM, System Owners, Area Owners, Tools Owners), consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues.
Collaborate with safety personnel to ensure site safety requirements are met and achieve zero interruptions to production (ITP) and near-miss incidents/accidents.
Comply with relevant government laws, regulations, legal demands, and company business ethical standards.
Adhere to all company and government (DOSH) Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations, and comply with MNC Semiconductor industrial RBA, CSR, clean room protocols, and EHS Minimum Performance Requirements (MPR).
Job Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
At least 5-6 years of experience in similar roles, particularly in engineering or factory/warehouse building and construction works.
Strong knowledge and experience in project management, especially in HVAC and cleanroom projects.
Experience in the semiconductor industry is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring project phases meet quality requirements and specifications.
Proficient in preparing Method of Statements (MOS), Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and other related documents.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
Mandarin proficiency is a must to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Knowledge of relevant government laws, regulations, and company business ethical standards.
Commitment to adhering to all company and government (DOSH) Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations.
