Review incoming materials, components or products to ensure compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and Material Test Reports (MTRs). Liaise with suppliers when discrepancies are found, and escalate major non-conformances. Perform dimensional inspections using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.). Verify tolerances and record findings. Inspect workmanship at key stages of fabrication, finishing/coating, painting, welding, or other relevant processes. Monitor surface quality, weld quality, finish, fit?up and similar criteria. Oversee or support special / non?destructive tests (e.g. magnetic particle, penetrant, ultrasonic) when required. Coordinate with external labs or internal NDT teams and ensure tests are conducted as per standards. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, measurements, and non?conforming items. Prepare Non?Conformance Reports (NCRs), daily inspection / test reports, and summary reports. Track corrective actions to ensure closure. Ensure products/processes comply with relevant industry codes, client specifications, ISO 9001 or equivalent systems, and any health, safety, environmental obligations. Assist in internal audits, and facilitate external audits when needed for quality / regulatory compliance. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, codes and client requirement documents. Ensure that inspection criteria are derived correctly from those documents. Report daily/weekly findings to QC Manager or relevant stakeholders. Liaise with production, engineering, workshop, suppliers, and if applicable clients, for quality issues, action plans, and corrective measures. Supervise QC inspectors / technicians under your jurisdiction: assign daily tasks, check work quality, ensure documentation. Ensure inspection tools and instruments are properly maintained and calibrated; sometimes assist or oversee calibration of jigs or gauges.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma / relevant technical qualification; Engineering / Quality / Manufacturing background preferred.

Experience

: ~2?4 years in QC / inspection / quality assurance environment, ideally in a manufacturing/fabrication/production setting. Familiarity with precision measuring tools and inspection instruments. Basic understanding or experience of at least one NDT method. Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 quality system; client specification interpretation. Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, ability to document clearly. Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non?technical personnel. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints. Possess own transport. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Mandarin language proficiency is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
