Job Description

Job Summary The role of Inspector for Cameron (M) Sdn Bhd is to assist the QC Supervisor to perform daily parts/products inspection for in-coming, in-process. He/She is also responsible to implement the Quality Management System (based on ISO 9001 and API Spec Q1) and API 6A, 6D and 17D Specification and Standards. Responsibilities The Inspector will support the goals and programs established by the management team to continually improve the quality systems as well as plant improvement. Included in the roles and responsibilities of the Inspector are: Review quality plans, engineering drawings and follow inspection procedures to complete inspection activities. Perform QC inspection activities covering Receiving Inspection and In-Process Inspection. Review and update of Quality and test plans as required. Witness inspections and testing of equipment and complete paperwork as required. Identify discrepancies during inspections and report findings to QC Supervisor. Complete QC reports for inspected equipment. Assist in the completion of technical documentation as required. Authorize for creating and changing Non-conformance reports. Minimum Job Qualifications QualificationsEducational: The Inspector should have a minimum of SPM. Experience: At least 1 years of experience in manufacturing environment especially in Quality Controls.Good attitude, easy to delegate and passion for improvements. Effective communicator and ability to interact at all levels.Understand in Quality standards, requirements & measuring tools.Familiar with the SAP R2/R3 transactions or training will be provided.Experience with NDT is an advantage.Computer Skills: The Inspector should be able to demonstrate PC skills Language: Fluency, both written and verbal, in English and Malay. Communication Skills: The Inspector I should be able to express ideas effectively in both individual and group situations. In addition, he/she should be able to organize and express ideas clearly in written documents.
