Physically fit and able to handle heavy goods.

Willing to work on rotating shifts.

Able to read, write, and count.

Eager to learn and operate machinery.

Not colorblind.

Printing industry QC Operator

A Quality Control (QC) Operator in the printing industry inspects printed materials to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications, records inspection data, and communicates any defects or issues to the production team for correction.

Key Responsibilities

Inspecting Materials:

Conduct in-process and final quality checks on printed products, including inspecting in-process items, and finished goods for defects.

Verifying Specifications:

Compare output samples against approved standards, design, and job specifications, paying close attention to color accuracy, print registration, text matter, and dimensions.

Operating Inspection Equipment:

Use industry-appropriate tools to perform checking and inspection process.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of inspection results.

Problem Solving and Communication:

Promptly report quality issues to supervisors and production teams, and collaborate on implementing corrective actions to resolve problems efficiently.

Adhering to Standards:

Ensure all processes adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and quality management systems, such as ISO standards

Maintaining Work Environment:

Uphold high standards of housekeeping and safety in the work area.
