Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer

Location: SENAI, JOHOR

Responsibility:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain the integrated Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QHSE) Management System to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ESD 20.20 and other applicable standards.

2. Conduct internal and external audits, perform gap analyses, and implement the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) process to drive compliance and continuous improvement.

3. Prepare and update quality manuals, SOPs, and QHSE documentation.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness of policies.

5. Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, and risk-based thinking

6. Analyse quality, environment, and safety data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

7. Develop and monitor CAPA for process optimization.

8. Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) with QMS compliance and documentation.

9. Conduct training sessions on QHSE policies, ISO standards, ESD control, and quality best practices.

10. Partner with Engineering, Production, and Supplier teams to enforce quality standards.

11. Lead initiatives to improve workplace safety, environmental performance, and regulatory compliance.

Requirement:

1. Diploma, Bachelors's degree, or professional certification in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

2. 3-5 years of QMS experience in PCBA or Electronics manufacturing (automotive parts industry experience preferred).

3. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ESD 20.20, and audit requirements.

4. Hands-on experience with internal/external audits, CAPA, SPC, risk assessment, and process improvement tools.

5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

6. Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken, listen & written - bonuses), speak & written in English & Malay is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
