This department is responsible for the implementation of Quality Management System and Food Safety management System. The scope of coverage includes but not limited to Process Management, System Management, Regulatory Management and Supplier Management. There are 3 sections within QA Department, which are QMS Administration Section, Operational Control Section and Food Regulatory Section.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage day to day operation of the Regulatory section including man power.
Set sectional KPI and activities inline with departmental goal and manage it effectively to achieve the results.
To manage information for customers\' requests before submitting to the QA Manager for approval.
To carry out research on regulatory requirements for domestic and export countries when required.
To maintain adequately information database on ingredients and products of AMB.
To keep in close contact with regulatory updates in Malaysia and other countries related to food and prepare report to update management on the impact to the organization
To review and ensure the compliance of consumer products package labeling and proposed labeling to Malaysia and related countries regulations.
To support the QA Manager in dealing with government bodies pertaining to packaging label and claims.
To attend external meetings related to food regulations when required and update the management on outcome of meetings and impact to the organization.
Ensure all relevant procedures are updated and maintained accordingly.
To manage internal food legal audit and prepare summary report for management.
To ensure all reports required by the management are updated accurately and on timely basis.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must have degree in food science or equivalent science degree.
candidate must have knowledge in food regulatory (Malaysia & other country)
