Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

General Quality (QA / Manufacturing Quality):

Conduct in-process and final product inspections as per control plans. Assist/Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) for internal or customer complaints. Maintain and ensure calibration of inspection tools and equipment. Support/Manage documentation as per

IATF 16949

,

ISO 9001

, and

customer-specific requirements

. Monitor and report quality KPIs - rejection rates, rework, PPM, etc. Implement and sustain quality tools such as

FMEA

,

SPC

,

MSA

, and

Control Plans

. Participate in audits (internal, customer, and third-party certification bodies).
Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) Focus:

Inspect and verify incoming raw materials and components as per specifications. Coordinate with suppliers for material quality issues and initiate SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Reports). Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations. Work closely with Procurement and Production for vendor development and approval. Support in PPAP submissions for new suppliers or components.
Documentation & Compliance:

Prepare and maintain QMS documents like SOPs, WI, inspection reports, NCRs. Support in maintaining compliance with

APQP

customer quality requirements

. Ensure traceability and product identification through proper records.

Qualifications:

Assistant Engineer:

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Industrial Engineering. 0-2 years of relevant experience in quality or manufacturing.

Executive Engineer:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (Diploma holders with experience may apply). 2-5 years of hands-on experience in quality roles in the automotive industry.
