Job Description

We are looking for our first Quality Assurance (QA) hire to establish and own our quality practices. This role goes beyond test execution--you will help embed quality into the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring we build the right features correctly from the start.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define quality standards, improve processes, and ensure features are delivered with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

SKU Upload and Management: Manage and upload SKUs on multiple Shopify websites and NetSuite with accuracy. This task is a critical component of the role and requires precision and attention to detail. Support internal teams by handling IT support tickets and resolving hardware/software issues. Campaign Setups: Set up, test, and schedule online campaigns on shopify in advance to support marketing initiatives and ensure they are executed flawlessly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations across IT and e-commerce platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify websites, IT integrations, and system performance.

Job Requirements

Review and clarify business and product requirements to ensure testability and alignment with user needs Design and maintain test strategies, test plans, and quality gates for new features and releases Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, exploratory, and UAT support Collaborate with developers to identify risks early and promote quality-driven development practices Educate and support team members on testing best practices and effective feedback Establish and improve QA processes, documentation, and reporting Design and implement test automation for stable and repetitive test cases using tools such as Selenium or Playwright Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines as the system scales Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to balance speed, risk, and quality

Experience setting up QA practices in an early-stage or scaling team Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration Experience testing web applications built with modern JavaScript frameworks
